This dish gives delicate pear flavors with a slight spiciness from the mustard. The meat is soft and juicy, and the leeks add a delicate sweetness. It tastes great with rice.
Ingredients:
- Front legs of the rabbit “Krolikoff” – 2 pcs.
- Ghee – 1-2 tbsp. spoons
- Leeks – 1 pc.
- Pear and mustard sauce – 3-4 tbsp. spoons
- Salt – to taste
- Water – 100-150 ml
Preparation:
- Fry the rabbit legs in ghee on both sides until golden brown.
- Transfer the roasted meat to a ceramic baking dish.
- Fry the chopped leeks in the same skillet until soft.
- Add the leeks to the rabbit, brush with the pear mustard sauce, salt and pour in the water.
- Cover the pan with a lid or foil and bake at 180°C for about 1 hour.
Submission:
Serve with hot rice. The meat is tender, juicy and flavorful, with a sweet and spicy hint of pear and mustard.
